CAMO.A.135

CAMO.A.135(a) Certificate validity

The organisation’s certificate shall remain valid subject to compliance with all of the following conditions:

(1) the organisation remaining in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1139 and its delegated and implementing acts, taking into account the provisions related to the handling of findings as specified under point CAMO.B.350;

(2) the competent authority being granted access to the organisation as specified in point CAMO.A.140;

(3) the certificate not being surrendered or revoked.

CAMO.A.135(b) AOC termination

For air carriers licensed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1008/2008, termination, suspension or revocation of the air operator certificate automatically invalidates the organisation certificate in relation to the aircraft registrations specified in the air operator certificate, unless otherwise explicitly stated by the competent authority.

CAMO.A.135(c) Revocation or surrender (business grouping)

Notwithstanding point (b), when the CAMO is contracted by operators forming part of a single air carrier business grouping in accordance with point M.A.201(ea) of Annex I (Part-M), the termination, suspension or revocation of the air operator certificate does not automatically invalidate the CAMO’s certificate. In this case, the contract in accordance with Appendix I to Annex I (Part-M) to this Regulation becomes void.

CAMO.A.135(d) Revocation or surrender

(d) Upon revocation or surrender, the organisation certificate shall be returned to the competent authority without delay.
